Letter from President
Dear all,
I went through formal recruitment in the Spring of 2022 for the same reasons many people do; I wanted to get involved on campus, find new friends, and have a home away from home. At that time, I had no idea that one day I would stand in front of 150 amazing chapter women as president. I can honestly say that the women in this chapter make me proud every single day. Through our ideals of sisterhood, generosity, innovation, and character development, Alpha Phi has pushed me to be the best person, student, and leader I can be. Alpha Phi has given me a support system, amazing leadership experiences, memories, and sisters that challenge me to new heights. I can confidently say Alpha Phi is more than just a Greek organization- it’s a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime; and I take great pride in being a part of such an impactful organization. I look forward to watching the chapter continue to thrive and excel!
Best,
Morgan Wiberg
Chapter President

“Second semester I joined Alpha Phi and it was the best decision I could have made for myself.
“The women that I have had the privilege to work with and get to know better is what made everything so special. Knowing that I always have our beautiful house on Kilbourn to spend time at is so comforting. Coming into college, I was really looking for a community that felt like home. As soon as I talked with the women of the Eta Mu chapter I felt heard and seen, and everyone I talked to was so kind.” - Taylor Muno

“Every time I am in the presence of Alpha Phi women I am truly in awe of the strength and energy that is in the room. I felt the same way as I went through my recruitment process. I wanted more than a friend; I wanted a family. Someone who would be a shoulder to cry on, the first person you tell exciting news to, and people who would push you to be your best self. I am so beyond lucky to say I found that, and so much more.
The empowering and diverse group of women I have met and come to love dearly, inspire me every day. I have been given opportunities that have led me to learn and achieve and for that I am so grateful. The friends Alpha Phi have brought me are truly the ones you will grow old with and the ones you will never stop making memories with. The bond you feel, whether that is walking past a sister on campus, or walking into a chapter meeting is a friendship that is indescribable.” - Claire Lucas

“Being a first-generation minority college student comes with a lot of battles. There is very limited family guidance, cultural adjustment, dealing with imposter syndrome, overcoming stereotypes, and dealing with the pressure to succeed which can play a huge role in your mental health, I know it plays a huge role with mine. Being in Alpha Phi allows me to lean on my sisters for support and help guide me through my challenges. Before joining Aphi, I struggled with imposter syndrome and finding my place at Marquette. Now as a sophomore, I can proudly say that I know that I belong at Marquette and will continue to break generational barriers.” - Maritza Rodriguez

“Being a member of this chapter with so many incredible women has inspired me to become the best version of myself. I am constantly encouraged to step outside of my comfort zone, whether that be trying a new workout class or taking on a leadership position. Being a member of Alpha Phi is something I will forever be proud of and joining was one of the best decisions I have made while at Marquette!” - Nicole Benedict

"Coming to Marquette from Pennsylvania, I was seeking a community. Joining Alpha Phi in my sophomore year proved to be a defining moment. I was greeted by supportive and driven women who deeply inspired me. Being apart of Alpha Phi has not only given me the chance to form bonds with sisters who genuinely care about my success, but also provided me with a strong support system. Alpha Phi quickly became my home away from home. I'm thankful for the love and acceptance I've found here, and I'm eager to continue my college journey alongside my sisters." - Keys Damore
