Philanthropy
Alpha Phi is one of the first sororities to have its own established foundation. The foundation raises money for women’s cardiac care and research, leadership programming, as well as scholarships for the members. The foundations mission is to raise awareness and funds for women’s heart health to support strong women everywhere.

The Eta Mu Chapter holds philanthropy close to our hearts, hosting 3 major philanthropic events on campus. We also participate in smaller community service events and donation drives throughout the school year. We are proud to have raised over $100,000 dollars for the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Red Dress Gala
Alpha Phi annually hosts our red dress gala, where members get to bring their families and show our support for the Alpha Phi foundation. As our most successful philanthropy event, we raised over $46,000 as a chapter for our foundation. This event displays not only how strong our sisterhood is, but the importance of cardiovascular disease and educating those around us about heart health.
Mr. Heartthrob
Mr. Heartthrob is a male talent competition between men from Marquette’s campus. A panel of Alpha Phi judges evaluate the contestants based on a runway walk, introduction, blind date, trivia, and lip sync battle. This is a highly anticipated event across the community as it is filled with laughter and raises money for the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Mac n Phi's
Mac N’ Phis is one of our philanthropy events where we sell homemade mac and cheese made with extra love. This event allows our community to make a donation to our philanthropy while enjoying a delicious meal. As a Wisconsin school it is only appropriate to have an event revolved around cheese.
